Barrington Animal Hospital
Choosing a veterinarian is one of the most important decisions a pet owner must make. You and your pets are at the heart of everything we do at Barrington Animal Hospital. We practice veterinary medicine because we are passionate about assisting animals in living long and happy lives. In addition to the Barrington area, we are pleased to serve pets and their owners in Deer Park, Palatine, Lake Zurich, and Cary.
Dr. Barbara Stapleton purchased Barrington Animal Hospital in 1991 after it was founded in the early 1900s. The walls of our clinic, which was remodeled under Dr. Stapleton’s supervision in 2005, are covered with photographs depicting our history and many of the pets we have loved. Barrington Animal Hospital has maintained a family atmosphere over the years, where we truly know and appreciate you, your pets, and your family.
The doctors, staff, you, and your pets are all part of the family. And part of being family is ensuring that your pet receives the best medical care available. Routine wellness care, which includes a thorough “nose-to-tail” examination, vaccinations, and preventive treatments, is the foundation of excellent pet health. Detecting problems before they become serious is critical to your pet’s long-term health and to keeping the lifetime cost of caring for your pet as low as possible.
If your pet becomes ill or injured, we are here to provide the compassionate and skilled veterinary care that your pet requires and that you desire. Because of our advanced diagnostic technology, surgical capabilities, and in-house laboratory, we can work quickly to provide you with an accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendation, reducing both your pet’s discomfort and your worry.
The foundation of excellent veterinary care is taking the time to listen to you and answer your questions. When you bring your pet to see us, we want you to feel confident that he or she is receiving the best possible care. You can ask us anything you want.
Our dedication to you and your pet does not end in the examination room. We make every effort to assist clients and their pets as they enter and exit our hospital. We assist you to your car when you buy food, are unable to carry your belongings, or require assistance with your pet. We also have a section of our waiting room set aside for clients who prefer to stay and wait while their pet is undergoing surgery.
